Terms and Conditions – Ossicones Safaris Tour Company (Uganda)

1. Booking & Reservations

All bookings must be made in writing via email, online form, or through our booking agents.

A minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm a booking.

The balance must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the tour.

For bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations must be received in writing and will be subject to the following fees:

More than 30 days before tour: 20% cancellation fee.

15–30 days: 50% of the total cost.

Less than 14 days or no-show: 100% (non-refundable).

Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 working days, minus transfer charges.

3. Tour Prices

All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated.

Tour costs include accommodation, transportation, park entry fees, guide services, and listed activities.

Prices exclude international airfare, personal travel insurance, tips, alcoholic beverages, and items of a personal nature.

4. Changes by Client

Any changes requested after booking (e.g., dates, accommodation, activities) may be subject to availability and a rescheduling fee.

5. Changes by Ossicones Safaris

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodation, or transportation due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, road conditions, or park closures.

If a major change occurs, clients will be informed in advance and suitable alternatives offered.

6. Health & Travel Insurance

All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance prior to travel.

Clients must ensure they are medically fit for travel and that all required vaccinations are up to date.

7. Liability & Risk

While Ossicones Safaris takes every precaution to ensure client safety, travel in Uganda may involve risks beyond our control (e.g., wild animals, terrain, road conditions).

Ossicones Safaris is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.

8. Passports & Visas

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity) and the necessary Uganda visa.

Ossicones Safaris can assist with visa information upon request.

9. Code of Conduct

We expect all clients to respect local customs, wildlife, and fellow travelers.

Unruly or disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the tour at the client’s expense.

10. Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permits

Permits are subject to availability and only guaranteed upon full payment.

Once purchased, permits are non-refundable and non-transferable, as per Uganda Wildlife Authority policy.

11. Force Majeure

Ossicones Safaris shall not be held responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other events beyond our control.
