This safari holiday will introduce you to the world????????s primate capital Kibale forest national park with different species of apes like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkey, baboons, vervet monkey among others plus different bird species such as the great Albertine blue turaco giving you a great chance to encounter them while on chimpanzee trekking.

You will explore Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park which inhabits the greatest number of gorilla population in the country which are always grouped into sectors with small units (families) thus making Uganda have the half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world.

Queen Elizabeth national park is another wildlife spotting place with different wildlife species like tree-climbing lion, buffalos, elephants, leopards, plus the stunning Kazinga channel where you will sail on during your boat ride and the Kyambura gorge panoramic view of Kyambura forest.

On your holiday still, you will visit Mpana tea estate to witness the local tea harvesting process.

Itinerary Highlights.

Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Evening boat cruise.

Day 4. Early morning game drive, transfer to Kibale Forest national park

Day 5. Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi wetland evening walk.

Day 6. Mpanga tea estate tour and transfer to Entebbe Airport.

Detailed Itinerarys

 Day 1: Transfer by van to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Depending on your suitable time of arrival, you will board a tourism van to Bwindi Forest. Setting off can be early morning, mid-morning, or in the Afternoon for about 4 to 6 hours.

Then a transfer to a booked hotel where you will have lunch and spend the evening in relaxation.

Accommodation: Near the park.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest

Early morning, your hotel will provide breakfast such that you get ready for the transfer to the park headquarters. You are expected to be at the park headquarters by 8:00 am local time for a briefing on the gorilla trekking etiquette from the park rangers.

It is at this time when the allocation of a gorilla family for every 8 members to trek is allocated. If you have any specific needs or are unable to hike for further distances communicate during briefing such that you are allocated a close family.

After the briefing, you receive your trekking stick and start the walk to the forest for the experience. Trekking to and from is dependent on where the gorillas spent their previous night, the nearer they are the faster you see them and vice versa. However, when you meet the family, you are allowed to spend only 1 hour seeing them go along with their daily lifestyle.

Take this time to enjoy the experience and record memories using your non-flash photography camera. After one hour, you trek back to the park headquarters where you receive a congratulatory certificate and be driven to your hotel by the driver.

Lunch can be packed, or you return for probably late lunch at the hotel. Accommodation as of the previous night.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park

From your hotel, most probably during mid-morning, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. To a booked hotel where you have lunch and get some rest preparing for the evening launch cruise on the 40km long channel that connects Lakes, Edward, and George. Take as many photos as you can here as wildlife will be up-close. on the Kazinga channel where you will be able to view different bird species alongside aquatic life.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

You will enjoy your breakfast in the jungle while on the morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the game drive, you will explore an array of wildlife and these may include Elephants, Buffaloes, Warthogs, Hyenas, lions, and several bird species.

The game drive lasts about 2-4 hours with several chances to spot and photographing wildlife in the wilderness. After the game drive, you are driven back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

Later on, you will embark on a journey to Kibale Forest national park through Fort Portal (tourism city) then check in to the lodge within Kibale Forest.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking.

From your early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kanyanchu visitors center for chimpanzee tracking briefing. After the briefing you will proceed to trekking and Spend time observing chimpanzees and other primates, like vervet monkey, black and white colobus monkey, birds like great blue turaco among other species.

You will return back at the park headquarter for awarding ceremony; chimpanzee trekking certificates will be awarded to you by Uganda wildlife Authority officials.

Evening nature walks in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary with bird watching opportunities along the green ethnic view. Transfer back to your lodge after all that in the evening.

Day 6: Mpanga tea estate tour and transfer to Entebbe Airport. 

From your warm breakfast, you will check out from the lodge and depart to Mpanga tea estate for our maiden tour around the plantation. You will interact with the local community who work at the plantation as you experience tea harvesting session.

The plantation has got a clear sky view with flat land scape which is all occupied with tea giving a stunning photographic moment.

We shall after proceed with our journey to Entebbe international airport for your flight. Along the way we shall have a stopover in Mubende town for lunch and relaxation later we continue to Entebbe airport for your flight.
